(St. Charles, MO) – The Missouri Legislative Session begins in early January and health care is likely to be among the main topics (again).
This week, State Rep. Nick Schroer (R) provides a preview of the debate over health care policy and, specifically, the push to expand coverage through Medicaid. Schroer opposes the idea and explains why.
Also, with the recent case of a Missouri college student being sentenced to prison for knowingly exposing others to HIV, Empower Missouri is among the advocates for changes to state law. Ashley Quinn and Washington University Health Coach Joshua Alexander outlines the changes they want to see made in the law.
